Cyber Checkup

All organizations are at risk of a cyber attack. It’s no longer a matter of if an attack will occur, but when.

Fortunately, there are steps you can take to improve your organization’s cybersecurity health and protect your operations, finances, and reputation.

The CapinTech Cyber Checkup is designed to help you check and improve your organization’s cyber health in two high-risk areas. It consists of:

  • External Vulnerability Scan – Vulnerabilities are holes in software code that can allow cybercriminals or malware to gain unauthorized access to a system. These can exist in all software, including operating systems and applications (e.g., Java and Adobe Flash). We will use specialized software to scan your network against a database of more than 50,000 known vulnerabilities. This identifies holes or weaknesses that can be seen and exploited from the public Internet.
  • Phishing Test – A large number of cyber breaches begin with an employee clicking on a phishing email. These fraudulent emails are designed to trick recipients into activities such as sending sensitive information, wiring funds, or clicking on a link or an attachment that opens the door for hackers to infect systems with malware or steal data. We will perform a social engineering test to help determine your employees’ ability to identify fraudulent email. You can use the data to implement effective employee training.

At the completion of your Cyber Checkup, you will receive a report of our findings and recommendations. This will help you determine next steps and whether your organization needs a Cybersecurity Assessment, a comprehensive analysis of your cybersecurity risk.
